Lord Narasimhadeva, He is excellent here! He shows His strength and determination. He is cleansing out the universe from the really most powerful demoniac forces. Thank You for this wonderful artwork!!

I don't know what is Magnus Ignis, Β but this is definitely derived from an indian god, which my family and relatives worship, original named 'Narsih" or "Nrusih' , where Nar means Male human and Sih means Lion, so basically it means Human Lion. And I hate it when English people will take random shit from Sanskrit and hindi, and then add A at the end of the word and even pronounces it like that , it is Narsih and not Narsihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa , even if you write Narsiha. That m before h is also pointless, since sometime it is written as Singh or Sigh , but not simha. If we follow literal translation rule you may write it like that though, still it will be more like sinha. No matter what you write, that a in the end must not be pronounced, it pisses me off. Pointless comment though, I loved the art. Β

Well man that's not entirely true since in some local Indian languages Simh or simha is used instead of Sih.....proof? I'm from India and my family's Hindu and i can assure you that Narasimha is in no way an english coinage. So please get your facts straight before you make a rant about it.

be specific, where are you from in India? Which language and which material describes him as Narsimha? My rant was based on my region and local source, but I would like to know more if the case is what you are describing.Β

Well I'm from kerala, the language being malayalam where a lion is called as a "simham" Β and similarly in this context Narasimham or Narasimha as well. With the wide variation of regional languages and dialects in our country it is difficult to say a particular variation of a word is wrong or not possible unless someone is an expert in the many different languages and their respective variations for the same word(i.e words of same meaning). I also feel as if there are significant variations in how a word is pronounced Β between the different dialects within the same language.Β

Yes I understand that, I know only 3-4 indian languages but I know nothing about malayalam, so you may be right. And what you are trying to say here is what i already understand, that is why i politely tell someone that this is what I think, I don't tell them 'Get your facts straight".

Haha, well I might have misread it as to me it sounded like you were really pissed at it. It's all good anyway, just wanted to give you an insight. Have a good day!Β
