Well... why the boob window? Maybe she is a strong woman who's proud of her well endowed chest and is confident and proud enough to show them to the slavering masses of men everywhere? Secondly she's an alien... who knows what standarts of decency they have where she's coming from.

Actually, she explained in one comic that she meant to add an insignia of some sort after she'd established herself as a superhero in her own right, but by the the time that happened, the boob-window itself had become her insignia.

I still say that since she's Kryptonian, and we know Superman gets his power from our yellow sun, the boob window is clearly a solar panel.

The drawing itself is outstanding, Power Girl looks like she should. And Batman's quote is hilarious.
But damn, why are there so few good pictures of Power Girl? Come on, she's not just a sex symbol. She's a cool and has a good potential as a character, DC should concentrate on her and try to make her more popular. All we get are 20 pages per month...

I know most of this is just joking around. Did no one here actually know why its there? I know this is an older one, but there is an actual reason for the hole. It used to have the 'S' shield like superman, but she did not want the responsabilty and burden that went with it, so she riped it off and left that spot alone.
