Nostalgia? Yes
Pixelish? Yes
Quality? Yes but not enough to stir me away from the nostalgia
Art like this makes me miss nintendo games.
Its nice, its simple, its a tree.
As simple as it is im happy with it
It doesn't shirk away from the idea of pixel art.
It doesn't leave us with a plain tree.
It doesn't leave us with a mess.
But it does leave us the memory of our adventures.
Whether it be Pokemon or Zelda,
Its enough to make us remember.
All in all it makes a good piece with just enough of everything

Vision: This itself looks rperfect. I can't see any pixel art errors.
Originality: This isn't original per se since making trees is like a must for most games e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x… " width="15" height="15" alt="
Technique: I must say that the tecnique IS original. Most people I see uses pixel art techniques with too much texturing, and while that isn't bad, it isn't fresh new either. It's hard to see amateur game designers and/or hobbyists doing this kind of simple, yet effective pixel art.
Impact: This really entered in my eyes. It reminded me a lot of the Mario & Luigi series even if it's not near that (maybe, I can't remember well e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="15" height="15" alt="

I prefer to do my pixel art in a softer style with less details I'm also not that good at spriting realistic stuff with many details xD
(and yeah, it really looks a bit like the M&L style ^^)
