Got into some lists this afternoon regarding the Ranger's Apprentice movie, lists about who should play what character, etc.There was an overwhelming amount of people that think Jeremy Irons should play Halt. I agree, he is a lot closer to what I had imagined.
I'm sorry the above Halt looks so old ;-;.
As for Will, there was an equally overwhelming response for Logan Lerman . I disagree, now don't get me wrong, I think Logan is adorable, I love him in Perks and Percy Jackson. However, I think he is too old to play Will. Considering Will is so young at the beginning of the series. I think a younger actor, who could grow with the role (if they ever did more movies after the first), would be best. Someone like Isaac Hempstead Wright from Game of Thrones.
The only other character I have picked out with an actress is Alyss. I think Saoirse Ronan would be perfect! ^__^
So, I used a few refs of those actors to try another hand at realism with two of my favorite characters <3.
I realize not everyone will agree with me, and that is fine, but please be respectful.

Oh, andΒ now that I look atΒ Isaac, he looks amazingly like the Will in the cover of the first book. Those eyebrows, that hair! I totally agree!

I LOVE IT OH MEH GLOB!!!! Halt looks amazing in this! Along with Will! I love how realistic it looks! AND SOMEONE WHO AGREES!! I disagree 100% for Logan to be Will. He's awesome in Percy Jackson, but as Will, erh no. nooo.Β

YES! Love! Halt is like so super cool! I like Will too... just not as much as Halt because... let's be honest... HALT IS SO COOL! I've only read the first two books though... And at this point I love Horace, Halt, Gillan, and Will. I don't mind Alyss right now but I feel like she's just there to be the love interest for Will. I hope she becomes a more active character in the future though! 
I like the actors you chose BTW I saw Jeremy in the movie Eragon as Brom (Another movie made from a book in which he is the mentor) and I hadn't read the book, but he was by fart my favorite character.
