Inspired by an rp with teh Kitteh. Long of the short Zim put Dib through argumentative hell, Dib angsted about it only to find out Zim wasn't as tuff as he said he was. The poor Irk had his grief but wasn't one to go about whinning and bitching but kept it quiet so he wouldn't have to think about it. All hooked up to the wirings Zim, unbeknown to the boy that they're necesary for him to live, lets Dib have a cling, and the scythe lock gets a nibble. (The scythe lock always gets love X3)Otherwise read into the pic as you like it.
I tried a more Zimeh style and had more grief with the colouring than I'd like. But I love the lineart, if only for Dib and his coat.

omg I now this is might be a tad cliche but... I see this as:

Zim abandoned his mission of invading Earth 5 or maybe & years ago when his relationship with Dib turned from archnemesis to truce since his Tallest never ordered him beyond information retrieval for invasion, then into some sort of friendship when Dib showed him some small wonders & miracles of humanity such as compassion to others or even reveling in the beauty of nature. Zim gradually fell in love with the planet & its inhabitants as he learns more about life on Earth. Zim did not contact his Tallest again gaining some insight that he was banished from the Armada & also protecting Earth by not exposing its coordinates again. Zim decided to stay on Earth for thr rest of his days or the remaining life span his PAK & the limited Irken technology would allow. Zim never told Dib that his daily life was a struggle to find substitute sugar-nutrients for his body that highly metabolizes energy since the alien never sleeps. Zim never told him that the Earth's atmosphere was slowly disintegrating his system since the nanites in his PAK could not have enough power to help his cells expel the super radicals formed by his metabolism. Zim tried to pass his weakened state as some sign of depression to the observant human; however, with only half an Earth cycle left in his life span, Zim became selfish. Zim could not imagine that at the end of his life he will not have anyone at his side to mourn for his death, so he contacted the only person he treated as an equal & cared about, Dib. Zim told him to take care of GIR, the robot would be a worthy ally if the Irken Armada ever discovers Earth. Zim also thanked him for teaching him how to value life in every being & showing him that there was more to it than just a single purpose of completing a mission. In his final minutes, Zim held him in a tight embrace then kissed him with all his might, showing Dib how much he cherished the time they had. As Dib rested his head on the crook of Zim's shoulders as he cries, Zim faintly whispers 'I love you' with his last breath then his arms went limp & dropped at his sides.
"You're so inconsiderate." Dib muttered as held the empty coil his first love.
Laine: whaddya think? Angsty? or more like a Tragedy & Drama-type? Dib didn't have time to tell Zim because he listened to Zim's last request or maybe it was more like a will & testament. Since Zim planned to die silently & alone in the first place, he did not want to leave a last statement, so when Dib came after he contacted him Zim poured his heart out.

I just finished reading that chapter! Yay! ^^ ...though I was totally lost when I started reading it cos the chapter before it got cut off unfortunatly. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon though. But from what I gathered, Dib finaly told Zim how he feels and they had a huge fight.... or something....

I'm not too sure if I'm 100% on the agreement of ZADR but your drawings...they're amazing! If anything turns me onto ZADR it will be your artwork. It's beautifully done. I absolutely love it.

I really love this picture. The colour and the mood really draws me in. I wanna cuddle them both! I'm sure they'd kill me though XD so I'll avoid that. Anyways, I love this story and it's a beautiful scean from it. Yay for creepy cords of Doom.
