Illya ordered and the black giant growled with acknowledgement... and started searching through a large wardrobe (which appeared out of nowhere) for an appropriate attire. He took out several dresses and compared them with Saber but growled with dissatisfaction until he found an appropriate one)
With an almighty Roar, one arm wielding his axe, the other the dress he charged upon the confused King of Knights who rose her sword to fight but yelled in surprise as a mighty swing of Berserker's axe created a clothes and armour ripping tornado around her. Within seconds she was completely naked with nothing but her sword to cover herself. And in the next moment Berserker jumped her and in a few seconds had her in a cute goth loli dress. He looked her up and down and growled with satisfaction.

Yuuno had FIFTEEN seconds of screen time. And then he shows up in the final battle despite not DOING anything in the movie?! WHY would they bother with that?!
The bland action sequences, bland music, the Wolkenritter holding both the Conflict AND Idiot Balls to make the plot work at all.
The fact that Reinforce attacked Nanoha and Fate for no good reason.
The fact that Chrono and Lindy got ZERO closure on the Book of Darkness in the movie when they should have gotten some.
The fact that there was NanoFate and Fate fluff at the start, not to mention that stick training AND the Lotus Dream Eater sequence when there was no need.
No Nanoha being a determinator in the movie.
No Fate being a BDH.
No Yuuno doing anything in the movie.
Arf getting 2 action scenes, and she only gets one move in each, first one is to get kicked away and then drained and then the second one is to exchange ONE punch with Zafira?!

Pretty and shiny effects do not, a good movie, make.
If that was the case, the Star Wars Prequels would be better than the original trilogy.
Heck, A's was my least favorite season of Nanoha, but even then, I knew it was damn good.
Problem is, so many plotholes in these movies could have been fixed with some single lines.
1st movie's plot hole about RH having its modes pre-installed, but Yuuno never used them. In Canon, Nanoha thought them up. So, why didn't Yuuno state why Nanoha could use RH better? Or why didn't Nanoha ask Yuuno how he got hurt if he had RH on hand? Just ONE line about how Yuuno's less compatible, Nanoha's more powerful, or Yuuno had just gotten RH and could only turn it on, not access any of the modes would have fixed the big plot hole (still bugs the HELL out of me) in the first movie.
2nd movie's biggest plot hole is the simple fact that the Wolkenritter REMEMBERED Reinforce, NachtWal AND what happens when the book is complete. If there had been a line about them not being able to remember what happens when the book is complete, then MAYBE the plot hole wouldn't have been so bad.

The problem is, people aren't acknowledging the plotholes and problems the movies have and instead of 7Arcs giving us NEW animated seasons, we're stuck with once a month manga (Please, Nanoha Innocent, PLEASE be good) and movies that are WORSE than canon, but people keep eating them up because of the shiny!

Hollywood's a business, the bayformers movies sucked and are critically bad, but people went to them, so they got sequel after sequel even though they shouldn't have.

The problem is, it's NOT overseen by people who haven't seen the anime. One of the things that the 1st movie never gets into is NANOHA'S backstory. You know, the main character? They never get into her backstory OR her motivation, so anyone who's seen the movie but NOT seen the series wonders "why is she like the way she is?"
I'm not asking for freaking Chronicles of Narnia or Lord of the Rings level story-telling from 7Arcs, but I DO expect them to have a movie with next to no plotholes, better action, better music and plenty of screen time and development for everyone!

An OVA would have been cheaper and they still would have made money if Fate had a lot of focus. Heck, give us some OVAs set between A's and StrikerS and drop the movies! You'll still have your fans who will buy them up for any nuggets of information and character development you give!
I just wanted SOME development for Nanoha in the movies instead of none. I mean, where's the tree monster that showed her becoming determined to never let anything bad happen again? Where's the flashback of her being neglected by her family after her dad got hurt that taught her how to take care of herself? Where's the flashback with her fight with Arisa that shows that she'll go out of her way to help people and stop those who are hurting from hurting if she can?
Just a FEW minutes in the 1st movie for those scenes would have given Nanoha a TON of character development!
And, yes, I know it's cheaper to make an AMV, but shouldn't the movie be able to give everyone a good amount of screen time?
