indeed. I'm not sure how she's gonna sound in the English dub, but inΒ the Japanese dub is what creeped me out the most. And I've beenΒ watching anime since I was 4 (of course, that was the early 90's, and I didn't know what anime was at the time)

Haha, well maybe maybe not. Nui ultimately craves Ragyo's maternal love, sacrificed herself to help her, while I don't see Joker sacrificing his life for an another person. Don't get me wrong, Joker would, and will sacrifice his life to help his own goals. Althrough, indeed, Nui has strong paralells with Mister J, even having a similar obsession wth Ryuko, as he has with Batman.

Maybe this a Nature vs Nurture thing, Satsuki and Ryuko also had their father's influence, and Ryuko had barely any contact with Ragyo. Nui , on the other hand, was fully brought up by Ragyo...Also, Ragyo's costume in Ep 17, had a very strong clownΒ motive...

I was refering to that experiment with the life fiebers right after Ryuuko's birth, I think Ragyo stopped useing her own DNA after that and some from Joker
