Would anybody expect less from Infinite Stratos's own Shu Shirakawa.
Now Season 3 would have Tabane throwing around black holes and Chifuyu turning into a gigantic flaming bird and rams people.

It was a surprise of an epic level though, especially at the end. I decided then that the Mad Scientist with "bunny ears lawyer" trope running was on her own side, and everyone else was just fun & games for her. It explained why Chifyuu onee-san was never happy to see her.

I do believe she thinks she is being fair, in a True Neutral balancing act a la Karla the Grey Witch. The IS dominate all conventional weapons, but in turn no one nation or organization should get all the best IS and then dominate the world again. Nice in theory, but it's very hard on all the IS pilots who have to deal with the application of it! The author of the original light novels has a good moral dilemma to work with, if he can avoid tossing harem bones to all the fanboys long enough to work with it.

I strongly doubt that Tabane is anything like Karla, save for her unpredicability/wild card-status
she seems to look for "fun" things and care little for anything/body else

Why do I have this weird feeling that Tabane will have plenty of perverse "accidents" while measuring and fitting things for Madoka? That girl is pretty much Chifuyu Mini, I don't think Tabane will be able to resist the temptation XD

Seriously if Tabane ever found out where Madoka was "made" (assuming she was a clone) she'd be probably like a kid who found out that Christmas is now twice a year or Kuroko who found out about Sisters XD

and after the battles, once the evili org is down, she will get a new job as Tabane's live-in maid/bunny-girl/cosplay-slave

and I think that place was shut down (most likely violently by Chifuyu)
she could once she gets the data, but it would be too much trouble to raise all the little baby-clones into something similar to chifuyu (the estimated food-costs + excercise to get her curves alone)
