This is for my friend and anyone else who's sick of seeing these style of stamps on the front page of DAAlso don't worry, this is the only stamp I plan on making.... well perhaps I'll make a cute plush stamp one day in the future....

Well, I personally think stamps ARE allowed to be 'art'
According to google dictionary, this is what art is:
"The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination"
Therefor, anything that you express onto paper, sculpting, clay, etc. Is art.
Technically, stamps can be made from your complete imagination an editing device (or anything else you want to make stamps with)
This is my reasons that stamps can be allowed on Deviant*art*.

I was mocking her particular "art" since they were cliche quote after cliche quote on the same stamp pattern, day after day making the front page. This particular stamp pretty much said nudity can't be art. Therefore I said her stamps weren't art. It's not that I hate stamps, it's that at the time I hated her stamps because people who actually spent time making creative artistic original stamp artwork were being overlooked by her cookie cutter stamps.

How are stamps not art? Those are just a few examples of some of the best stamps I've seen on dA, and don't give me the "there's an exception to every rule" BS. Some stamps belong on the front page, just that there are too many people who'd rather look at some shitty stamp with some generic message rather than a stamp that actually contains art.

It's a joke, because is uploading stamps all with the same font, texture, style etc with cliche messages on them, yet she's getting them to the front page almost everyday - this person wanted to parody them for the lulz basically ^-^ because it's silly that the same stamp just with a different message is making the front page over the much better stamps with a lot more work and creativity put into them, let alone better messages

I figured they made front page for nearly a week now that it would suffice to say "these stamps" but apparently not, I changed the description, so hopefully people are less offended.

Eh she does link it back to the original and it is up to the reader to link the context, otherwise it is out of context, but that would make her other statement in the artist's comment to be hypocritical, 'perhaps I'll make a cute plush stamp one day in the future....'
But then again, some stamps are just an image cropped to fit a stamp and has stuff like '[insert character here] fan' and '[insertobjecthere] love' and don't take much work, effort or creativity and whilst nice, pieces of art with much more effort, work and creativity put into them should make the front page instead - which relates back to her first comment 'This is for my friend and anyone else who's sick of seeing these stamps on the front page of DA'
Eitherway, it's not a stamp to be taken so seriously - mainly just made for a joke and to make the point there should be more brilliant work than poorly worded stamps on the front page

stamps.. obviously... but imo 99,5% of them have no artistic value what so ever.. there is a category called " females " aswell.. buy people still complain on vag-shots..
people are mainly pissed because pictures made with so little effort reach the frontpage everyday.. unoriginal stamps with spelling mistakes are made in what? 1 min? and and they reach over 1000 favs.. its ridiculous..
