Currently watching "Fullmetal Alchemist" and wanted a new wallpaper - not much more to say about that ^^Transmutation circle from here: [link]
Thanks to for helping me with the light effect!
I know this is just a simple coloring and I could do much more with the scene. I'm planning on trying something more with it, but for now it's alright as a wallpaper, so I post it.
Tipps are appreciated!

Hello! So, I love to write fan fiction and this inspired me to do a story about Brooklyn. This is going to lead to a chapter story, hopefully, within the next year or so. I just wanted to tell you how awesome this artwork is and how it has impacted me.

Gargoyles and Fullmetal Alchemist? Can I just HELL YEEEESSS!!!!!!!!!! Both series are pretty much top favorite animated shows, absolutely fantastic series. This looks awesome too, I love how the transmutation circle is like the only light visible, very well done picture...though I can't help but wonder Brooklyn is making XD

I'd like to see Brooklyn giving the Human Transmutation sacrifice that Ed did at the end of the original FMA which ended in him going to our world when Nazis where an issue. Such an awesome alchemic art.

Far from simple drawing it's awesome, colors used, shadows, lights, everything is quite excellent.
Maybe you can apply a background that could mix two worlds of them, Full Metal A. and Gargoyles, maybe something medieval but detailed could be my suggestion.
But for now it's perfect for me, his anatomy improved thousand times better than original.

the drawing itself and the coloring are great. the cell style shading turned out very well. The blue gradient coming from the circle is a very nice touch, it covers only the lower part of the pic and splits the figure in two: light/lower part and darkness/upper part. It helps 'reading' the composition
It's hard to find something wrong with this pic... I could spot only minor 'flaws':
- biiiig hands, but it could be in your 'style', just like big 'wing arms'
- his left leg, the area around the knee looks too 'flat', it should be more 'rounded' instead imho
- thin tail, almost like a biker mice 
- where's the other wing? Probably it's concealed by the darkness. If I were you I'd color it with dark colors, it should be still visible
If you'd like to experiment with colors and light effects, you could try to make a new layer on top of the others and set it to 'screen' or 'weaken' (it depends on which effect looks better) then paint some blue where Brooklyn's touching the trasmutation circle. The goal is to make the drawing lines blend better with the circle. Try not to add too much light, however, because it could break the composition balance and ruin the cell-style effect

You are right, the big hands are something I just love to draw! After all, they climb walls with them, fight with them, ... I always pictured gargoyle hands huuuuge
But the tail is indeed a lot too thin.
You are also very rigth with the knee. Do you have any idea how I could make it look rounder with the help of the shading?
The other wing is there, but most of it is covered by Brook's body. Do you notice the wing skin next to Brooklyn's hair and left shoulder?
Your hints sure help a lot! Putting a color layer on top of the inking - I never tried that before! Thank you!

I hope you won't mind if I did some cheap MSPaint edit to show you what I mean about the knee [link] I tried at least 3 times to write down what I was thinking but I believe I couldn't explain it even in Italian v_v I hope this little pic helps!
