More random characters for no reason... not shocking.
This time they're humans (wow) and they're set in the early 2000's because nostalgia. Even though they're in my cartoony style, it's a little different because I made their heads and especially eyes freaking huge for some reason

Someone in Derrick's family died, and he was captivated with the idea that they could still be around as a spirit. Later he became obsessed with ghost hunting in general. Finally in high school, he started to drag along his friend Amir from Egypt, to join him on his adventures. Amir didn't believe in ghosts at first, but he humored his friend. The first time Amir saw a real ghost and decided he believed though, he started to get really nervous about investigations. But instead of giving up or leaving, he just hides and counts on Derrick to protect him (not that he loses his quietly snarky attitude).

Most of the time, Derrick is super psyched and adventurous about hearing or finding ghosts. But, he secretly gets scared too when they finally encounter them. Since he's established himself as the cool brave occult guy though, he tries his best to pretend he's not nervous at all.

Then, one day they go into some haunted house and come out in a ghost dimension or something? Either a different world or the same world only with ghosts. At first they get scared, but then maybe they make ghost friends... And then they find a way to move between dimensions so they can go back and forth and it ends up being something they do for fun. If they had episodes for example, each episode might be like a different ghost they help or something... it sounds cheesy but I like the idea. I was thinking it would be like a mix between The Chalk Zone, Danny Phantom, Ghost Whisperer, Adventure Time, and Ghost Adventures.

These are not the first paranormal investigator high schoolers I've made, but I think it's a cute idea so I tried again
