This took way too long, maybe 5 hours...? I had such a problem with Rusty's clothes... *cries
But I actually really like these guys. I'm really sorry if you're sick of seeing goblins from me, I can't help it. Oh, and there's a lot about their designs and personalities that have been in the works for a long time, and finally I was able to round some of those ideas up into these goblins. I think I might have more planned for them, but I guess we'll see.

So the guy on the chair is Copperwell, and he's kind of like Don Fanucci from The Godfather II, but only in the sense that his main source of money and power comes from percieved "ownership" and loan sharking. He and Rusty were childhood friends, and they both came from average families with nothing really important about them. Rusty was content with that, but Copperwell couldn't stand feeling so worthless. So when the goblins came to Kalimdor, Copperwell saw the opportunity to start fresh and claim a name for himself(not unlike Auntie from Beyond Thunderdome, I guess). He built himself up as the head of a relatively unimportant fireworks company, but made sure he was feared as a loan shark by hiring a few grunts to rough other goblins up. Because of his slightly inflated sense of self-importance, he felt like he needed a bodyguard, and gave the job to his long-time friend Rusty, and he's with him all the time. Copperwell is actually more intimidating than Rusty with his imposing, confident, and seemingly violent personality, but Rusty the only one of the two who can actually win a fight. That just makes Copperwell more confident though, knowing Rusty is always around to protect him and scare away any threats.

People think that Rusty is just quiet, but he's actually mute. He talks very easily with Copperwell using sign language, since they've known each other for so long, and Copperwell just talks back at him. Rusty is a relatively sweet guy honestly, but his personality fits very well in the role of bodyguard. He always looks stern, even when he's relaxed, like in this drawing, and he never shies away from violence--he enjoys beating other goblins up sometimes. Since he can't vocally speak any frustrations, it's like a little bit of a release? Especially though, Copperwell has Rusty wrapped around his finger. Rusty isn't stupid, but he thinks slowly and in simple terms, making him candid to a fault. Copperwell has a tight hold on him starting from when they were kids: since they have a deeper connection as close friends, and Rusty isn't really a guy to have any other friends, he's kind of emotionally reliant on Copperwell, like a little brother or something. It's really easy for Copperwell to get Rusty to do anything for him, and he even takes advantage of him when it's convenient. He pays him just enough to not starve (because shocker: he's greedy), but besides that he provides him with clothes and a bed other things he needs. Even though Copperwell is sometimes manipulative, he legitimately cares about his friend and makes sure he's relatively comfortable... when he remembers him, that is. He's pretty focused on himself and getting as much money for himself as possible.

I have no idea what happened to Rusty's poor ear. Oh and he's quite a bit taller than Copperwell, idk if you can tell when he's sitting down... I was thinking they could live in Bilgewater Harbor...? That's the best place I can think of to put them where they could fit in, but there's probably a handful of other places they would also work. I also really like Bilgewater because it reminds me of home Kezan.

I don't think this is great but I think it's okay. I hope it is, considering how long I spent on both the picture and the bios. And I definitely hope you guys like it... tell me if you do? I've been so tired at work, and staying up to do this doesn't help--but like always, it's way more worth it to do art than sleep... even if you're like, really tired =-=' I don't plan to go to bed at 4am every time, but I somehow always do.
