History: For Jane, like was perfect since her birth. She was born in a well earning family, with her father being a magician and her mother as his partner. Together they cared for her greatly as she cared for them. Much to her species, she had multiple brothers and sisters but her parents always had time for each and every one of them. She wasn't even much of a trouble maker at her age, getting along with all the other children around her home, treating everyone she meets with kindness and respect, played with her brothers and sisters, even helping and learning illusion magic from her father and mother, she was just a perfect little girl. That is until that one fatal day.

Upon riding back home with her mother and father, a freak accident caused them to spiral out of control and crash. The incident left Jane severely hospitalized, but even though she managed to live, her parents weren't so lucky. With the death of her parents, her world began to slowly crumble around her. Her family's money being lost from the expenses, her home taken away, forced to become an orphan and separated from her brothers and sisters, all because of one unfortunate accident.

Growing up as an orphan wasn't easy either, especially the first time she stepped foot in an orphanage. The owner was abusive to her and all the other children, forcing them through labor and giving them poor quality food and clothes while the owner pockets the money. She would even get picked on by the other children as well, all of which would cause a strain to her psyche. It was until one night, the orphanage burned down with all the caretakers and children trapped inside. Everyone in the building died, except for Jane since she managed to escape the building while leaving everyone in the fire and smoke.

She eventually was taken to another orphanage where she was taken better care of than before, but deep down she felt something was off. Even though the people of the orphanage liked and even loved her, she felt that they were merely lying to her. That she was being deceived and it was all but a ruse to hurt her even more. Once again the orphanage suffered a terrible incident, a strange sickness that left only a few orphans including Jane alive. For every orphanage Jane has been in, each one collapsed to ruin by an unfortunate event, leaving Jane always untouched. She began to gain a reputation from her stays in several orphanages to the point to where no one would take her in, thus she was forced to live in the streets.

With little know how of her magical talents when she was with her father, she tried to make a living by casting illusions and perform tricks at the street corners but this only got her a little bit of money. The years were rough for her living in the streets, making small bits of money to live through the day, being forced to perform acts and steal whatever she can while no one was looking. It was one day she set her sights on a hooded man that walked by her that looked like he had quite a lot of money filled in his pockets. With a quick illusion spell, she managed to sneak up and try to rob him. But before she was an inch away of slipping her hand inside his pocket, a crimson gauntlet grabbed her by the wrist. Jane was shocked and frightened by the man who saw passed her illusion. The man glared at her as one would expect when looking at a potential pickpocket.

Tossing her to the side, she would quickly get up as the two began to scuffle. It wasn't her first time in a fight, having to protect herself while living in the streets when things went wrong or stepped in the wrong neighborhood, and manages to fend for herself against the hooded man. Yet while he could not lay a punch on her, neither could she. The fight continued on until Jane grabbed a discarded piece of glass to attack, but the hooded man was quick to react. Grabbing her and tossing her to a collected pile of garbage bags. She bumped her head pretty hard and watched as the hooded man stepped closer to her and reach into his coat pocket, suspecting to pull out a weapon to kill her or worse. Surprisingly, he tossed her a hand sized satchel filled with gold coins.

The hooded man removed his hood and revealed to her who he was none other than Neon Blacklight. He tells her that he was impressed with her fighting skills and her unique ability, even though he also points that her magic needs some more work. Thanking him and before leaving, Neon gave her a proposition to make, promises of riches and fortune, a well deserved home and a place to hone one's skills such as hers and in return all she had to do was to do what he say. She didn't like the sound of it at first, being bribed with such a deal from before, but what else did she had to loose and she was growing tired having to live her life the way it is now. With the deal struck, he took her out of the streets and journeyed far to the Radesen capital city of New Xectros where she and many others trained together and increase their potential.

Since then, Jane was now capable of using her illusions more offensive than just mere magic tricks like her father and became paired with two others who were just as skilled as she was. When the day arrived where the three had to drink a mysterious black serum, upon consumption she stumbled to the floor in agony. Her mind raced as she felt her bones scrape and twist, her organs splitting and put back together. She had never experienced such pain in her life in all her years. When she woke up and realized that her two companions were still alive, she noticed that she felt more powerful than before and her magic and agility showed it. With being aligned with Neon Blacklight, she soon started to count her allies and others around her as her own personal family. A bit dysfunctional but a family none the less, for the first time in many years she truly felt that she has a family once again.

After the Forgotten War, she took a sudden blow with Neon's defeat and sealing him inside The Vault. It felt like she had lost a member of her family which tore her apart and greatly blamed both humans and the Mobians who sealed him away. Having no way to free Neon herself, she continued her loyalty as a member of The Remnants and took whatever duty she could get to strike a hard enough blow to human and Mobian society to let them feel the same pain they had caused her with Neon. It is rumored that she had a major role in the cause of The Great War between humans and Mobians, being the one who murdered a Mobian prince and framed a lone human boy as well as other actions that would soon lead to the conflict between the two races.
