Description ((Any changes to Molly's current status are highlighted with bold text. Some information has been barred as well since they no longer apply to him.))

If Sandro's tactical operations are the thin and precise blade that hits the enemy's weakness and Luce's interventions are the impenetrable shield of the Ares army... Molthaseth is the maul's blind but devastating blows.

But that was before the fateful experiments.

Once Sandro's close confidant... Molthaseth has fallen from ''grace'' and has become the hollowed shell of who he once was.

Profile of doom

Name: Molthaseth Integrer
Nickname: Molly
Race: Crystal Humanoid Dracolich
Age: Unknown. Said to be more than 1000
Height: 156 cm
Occupation: Field-Commander and Mad Scientist

Weapon: Unknown

Personality: Molthaseth is a laid-back killing machine/force of nature/engine of destruction. He is often the source of wanton destruction and he has an indirect willingness to endanger innocent lives to accomplish his goals as he is the kind to destroy large areas to kill only one target. He has a complete lack of morals and could be considered cruel even but he is in fact simply and utterly careless.

One could also say that Commander Integrer is insane. Literally. He will often have changes of personality and will also change his tone or accent for no reasons. That is mainly due to his old age and the multiple bodies he used in the past. He has hints of personality from each body he used making him confuse his own personality with the others. That makes him quite unpredictable. It's almost impossible to know what he'll do next since each personality has a different way of doing things.

The necromancer is also a prankster and will enjoy looking at others suffer from his quite dangerous pranks. He is easily bored when things aren't moving and will rarely stay and listen to someone talking for a long period of time. He mostly takes everything with ease and nothing seems the phase him or surprise him. Sometimes though, the ''young'' necromancer might become impatient. That happens when he faces an opponent who can survive more than 2 of his attacks. He will change his fighting style to a more aggressive one if he sees that he is facing a strong opponent. In any other cases, war and battles are games to him.

UPDATE

New personality

Molly was once known to be energetic, impatient and completely out of control. Some aspects of his old persona still endures but they are twisted by his new found powers.
First of all, the new Molthaseth is incredibly calm, cold and uncaring. A permenant faint smile always appear on his lips and doesn't seem to falther under any circumtances. He will insult and will lack much more tact than usual as if social conventions no longer affect him. He will appear apathetic in any situation even if he is indeed interested in a conversation. He became extremely asocial aswell and will only speak with his draconic servant Lucian who will often deliver messages in his stead since they probably will never reach the ears of another without his intervention.

The crystal necromancer will be unmoved by any insults or attempts to sway him unlike before. He will ignore comments he does not enjoy as if they were merely sounds. He will also not hesitate to attack someone he doesn't like without any warning. Like before, he will not care for innocent casualties and will use wanton forces to obliterate any being as if he didn't know any other level of attack other than his strongest. Unlike before, will not play with his pray and will casually attempt to destroy the whole area simply to kill it.
Needless to say... One meeting him might thing he is now a souless being.

His 6 new faces
Since his transformation, Molly as been acting differently and the same goes for his other soul fragments.

The mischievous demon:

Like before, the mischevous demon will act playful but his demeanor will not match his attitute. Joking in a neutral tone and without the hint of a laughter, he won't be jumping around any longer. His body now only makes slow and gentle movements. He is still a child at heart and will enjoy watching things like toys and children playing... Before crystalizing their soul if no one is there to stop him.

The succubus:

The temptress still has all her charms and interests, often using terms such as ''Honey'' or ''My love'' when talking to a male. Again though, only a faint smile and his neutral, uncaring look will be visible on the necromancer's face as if the body is no longer her's. A slightly more seductive tone will be heard when she takes controlbut her ''love'' no longer seems sincere.

The old mage:

That old geezer is still there, insulting everyone and hating everything. Unlike before though, his voice will sound much more tired and old as if the transformation process withered his powerful influence. Now tired and weak, the mage will merely analyse what is going around him and will be able to aid the necromancer with his vast knowledge. He knows almost every spells in the book unless it is a personally crafted spell in which case he will question the origin of the magic and how it was created.

The dryad mother:

It is sad to say but the dryad is no longer the one it was before. Her desire to protect her childrens turned into a cold obssession of turning them all into crystals. She now enjoys watching everything turn into brilliant void and acts motherly with crystallized beings, like Lucian. She will be caring only to those who were transformed by Molthaseth's powers and will only manifest if one is present. Her favorite is Lucian of course.

The mask:

The masked enigma will no longer manifest itself. It would appear that Molthaseth's desire to hide his frail appearance is long gone and this persona will no longer take over for the sake of looks. The necromancer is often seen wearing the mask of a white dragon though... Could it be...?

The original:

The original and innocent Molly still exists in this body but is so frail and weak that it can no longer take over the other souls. He's sad and tired, wanting this to all end. He's still fighting the uncontrallable desire to turned everything into crystal and often prevents the necromancer from doing so. Besides that, he only materialize when nobody is around, giving the other souls a deep sense of dread, sadness and cold.

History: Not a lot is known about Molthaseth before he moved to Necropolis.

According to records, Integrer was a young scholar who moved to Necropolis in order to learn about necromancy and become a dark priest. Apparently, he was a terrible spellcaster and ended up last on most of his classes. But it is written that during his third year, teachers started to feel something strange within him.

What was shortly discovered was that Molthaseth could manipulate lifeforce and bend it at his will. This ability allowed him to surpass the magical capacity of any other mages since he can use the souls of other people and thus gain their pool of mana to his own. Since his ability was very unique but most probably one of the most important discovered in Necropolis during that era, the young Molthaseth was sent to a special class and was trained by the army's general, Sandro.

Since Sandro had potential many other necromancers didn't have, he was the only one who was able to train Molthaseth and make him become an important member of the army.

Over the course of multiple years, the young sorcerer became much more confident and became a very skillful necromancer. After years of research, he finally reached lichhood and became a commander of the army shortly after.

Since then, Molthaseth Integrer was sent on almost every prominent offensive missions and very often failed at not utterly destroying his enemy.

UPDATE

In his multiple studies of soul manipulation, Molthaseth discovered by chance the process of soul crystallization. Further studies showed that an ancient entity named ''The Crystal Serpent'' had this ability as well and was able to master it thanks to his affinity with it. His ability looked quite similar to what Molthaseth was capable of doing. Needless to say, it aroused his interests. Dwelling deeper in the studies of this dragon and the mysterious crystals, the necromancer of Ares eventually turned obsessed and soon disappeared in the south where he established the archive of his studies leaving responsibilities, friends and foes behind. Working day and night, he was able to amass thousands of books that could aid him in his goal. After a worldwide search with the help of his insect servants, he was able to find a fragment of the legendary creature and acquire it with ease from a travelling merchant who had bought it from a miner.

After multiple attempts on his favorite guinea pig Lucian, Molthaseth was able to clone the crystal dragon using the bone demon as surrogate thus turning him into a draconic being through magic and rituals. Soon after his success, Molthaseth attempted his first soul crystallization which ended up in success as well, tapping all his knowledge and resources from the newly transformed Lucian. The studies eventually made him mad and impatient, a trait he already had really. Thus, following multiple other successful experiments, he attempted to crystallize his own soul, thinking it could cure its decaying shape. The procedure worked wonderfully and the need to change his body was no longer necessary to survive! His soul had crystallized and entered a temporal stasis thus making him equally ageless. Sadly for him though, it wasn't the only effect... the ritual completely destroyed his will and persona. Over the course of a few days, he underwent a painful transformation, acquiring traits of the ancient dragon himself as well as his will. Could it be the creature's will was not his but a side effect of the crystal? It didn't matter for Molly anymore.

Newly reborn, Molthaseth's goal and interests entirely deviated to soul crystallization and the mastery of this new found craft. All his insects died over the course of his studies and he, unmoved, simply crystallized the souls encased within them, giving birth to a new creature known as the Crystal Butterfly. Using these creatures, Molthaseth began to force soul crystallization in the surrounding flora and fauna, turning the entire area into a beautiful but eerie crystal desert. It is apparent that the Molthaseth Ares once knew was entirely gone, entirely possessed by what now seems to be a foreign entity. His 6 personalities are still active depending on his mood but they were all altered into a cold and apathetic version of what they were, all obsessed in turning everything into crystal.

Random facts:

-Molthaseth current body is the one of a young demon boy so his current personality will reflect the one of that demon before he died.

-The necromancer enjoys being intimidating but due to his current stature, being scary isn't easy. What he does though is sit on a column of insects, hide it with his oversize cape and wear his mask to hide his boyish features. In that form, he has a height of at least 9 feet and all his features are hidden making him appear like a giant silhouette with a mask. He will also change the tone of his voice to make himself look truly powerful and mighty.

-Molthaseth loves to meet new people and mindfuck them. He will do all he can to make them either feel uncomfortable, make them become what they don't like or turn them to the dark side. Manipulating people and making them become the opposite of who they are is his favorite sport.

-Molthaseth is always travelling with millions of bugs but he usually keep them hidden so that his opponent doesn't know the source of his power.

-Commander Integrer has 4 pets that he values more than other insects. One gargantuan green beetle that he uses as a mount. One black and white spider that acts like some kind of loyal dog. A red centipede that is usually hidden but is as big as the beetle (acts only in battle) and finally, another very small silver beetle that is very rarely seen but hold something dear to him.

-When talking about himself, the necromancer will often say ''we''. He is, in most cases, referring to his multiple personalities/divided self.

Abilities
Molthaseth Integrer's abilities are purely offensive. The necromancer travels with thousands of insects who each hold a soul in them. With all of them with him, the spellcaster is capable of anything.

-Mana Tap: The commander is capable of converting the souls of thousands of his victim into raw mana. With this massive source of power, Molthaseth will send bolts of energy capable of creating devastating explosions of blue and white energy, easily killing anything standing in it. He will always attack wide areas to prevent targets from successfully dodging his attacks but he can also focus this energy into one single white lightning bolt. This concentration of energy is extremely deadly and will penetrate almost anything with ease.

-Insect Domination: The young demon is capable of commanding thousands of insects that he usually simply find in the wild. In battle, he will send hordes of critters to damage or break an opponent's focus. His favorites are hornets.

Since his transformation, Molthaseth's new potential has never been put to the test. Many fear to even make an attempt as the crystal necromancer will no longer hold back... even against allies.

The 6 faces of Commander Integrer

In the past, Molthaseth used the body of an old and mysterious wizard, a motherly dryad, a succubus, a faceless being and a half-demon boy as host for his soul. Each time he marked someone; the lich would kill them and raise them as undead using part of their own soul. That is when he would connect his soul to the one he used to reanimate the body into an undead. His practice of soul transferring was archaic, risky and unorthodox (Read ‘’The soul of an old man’’ chapter for more details), resulting in permanent soul decay. Over time, the necromancer’s soul became fragmented and began filling its holes with the lingering souls of the host bodies, slowly driving Molthaseth into a major state of dissociative identity disorder. The effect kept stacking over time and with each body till the necromancer’s original personality became completely assimilated by the others, becoming an amalgam of 6 souls manifesting at certain times or during certain events.

The soul of an old man

The old wizard was known to be a powerful Earthran elementalist named Leander Ashstar. The man was capable of making fire rain from the sky and split mountains into two according to legends. He was an infamous man too as it was said his temper was not something to fiddle with if you wanted to keep your eyes. He would also send many young aspiring wizards to complete tasks that would usually make them learn something important in order to complete the endeavor and their training. He was Molthaseth’s teacher before the apprentice began dwelling in dark arts. When Commander Intergrer became a powerful necromancer of Ares, the old wizard was struck by guilt as he was the one who had tempted the boy who then failed his test and became obsessed with the dark magic and forbidden manipulations. The wizard challenged the boy to a dual of magic at the peak of the highest tower of Ashenfield. There, the boy’s pride was put to the test which ended in his obvious defeat after a battle which lasted one day and one night. What the old wizard did not expect was foul magic though. Molthaseth had trapped the battlefield with a soul binding ritual which allowed him to transfer his soul into the old man’s soon to be dead body if the battle resulted in his defeat. But the old wizard had one last trick up his sleeve. He wanted to curse the boy before leaving the world and that’s what he did. He countered the spell and redirected its effect to a silver beetle that was just lying there, trapping the soul of the necromancer inside the bug forever. ''Fitting to see the most ambitious dark wizard be turned into a fragile little bug.'' he thought before finally dying. It took the Molthaseth 4 years and a half before he could muster the required energy to bind his trapped soul to the old man’s dead and inactive body. Since then, the necromancer’s soul is trapped inside the silver beetle and can only link it to the body he wishes to use... But such a manipulation is extremely unforgiving. Lord Ashstar had won in the end.

The old man manifests himself when Molthaseth is faced with an apprentice of some sort or when he must make a professional public appearance. He also appears when he needs to analyze something complicated or when he needs to know a certain spell. The man's vast knowledge of magic was legendary.

Update

The mysterious process of Soul Crystallization

Molthaseth's studies lead him to discover a new method of soul manipulation. Instead of using it as raw force, he stops it completely thus turning it to a visible crystal. This transformation has different effects when the soul is still in the body of a living being and the process is extremely painful, physically and mentally.

For plants, earth and water, the process turns them into pure crystal. The leaves, branches, rocks and waves all stops and lose all colors, turning into a bluish ice version of their previous shape. Soon after, they become translucid and eventually, their very fabric and texture turn to crystal, similar to a raw soul directly crystallized. There is currently no way of turning all elements back to normal thus making the vision of a world entirely transformed frightening. They keep their same properties and will break or not break as normal. The process of changing the flaura can vary from 3 to 10 days.

As for animal and bugs, they turned into twisted creatures made of crytal or white scales. They keep their shape but all the elements of their body cracks and change shape into a very complex crystal-like web. The newly transformed creatures no longer feel the desire to eat, drink and no longer feel emotions. They become hunters and attack living folks to turn them into creatures as well. Most of them can either bite, sting or scratch and each attack will leave shards of crystal in the body of their victim thus beginning their transformation as well. The process of changing a beasts, depending on their size can vary from 1 day to 2 weeks.

Transforming human and magical beings is the longest process but the most worthwhile. A shapechanged being will keep fragments of its memories and all its acquired knowledges. The skin with turn either scaly white or other desaturated colors depending on the color of their soul. They will turn slightly draconic and develop features such as horns, tails, pointy teeths, claws and bright blue eyes. Most keep their personality intact but their emotions will slowly fade over time until they become cold and souless individuals. The process takes a minimum of 1 week and longer for strong willed beings.

Although painful, once the process is complete, the subject will feel pure bliss and will lose all fear of death. A crystallized soul make its owner ageless.

Note: A reference was partly used for two of his arms.
