Yup. The only thong i used that another program can't, is the selection tool. All that is is it selects the image so i dont colour out of the lines.
Im noy sure if gimp has something similar but i dont think so.
But other than that the tutorial is gimp/sai/photshop friendly. XD

I've been trying different shadibg styles lately. But my first one was the one shown in this tutorial. Soft shading is basic and quick. And i checked your gallery out. Nice work!
