My third how-to-draw book, DragonArt: Evolution* is due out this August. This time it's cover-to-cover, all about dragons, and features a higher illustration and page count then either of my two previous books. It's been over a year in the making, and I'm so excited to finally see it published!The books can currently be preordered from amazon, barnes and noble, and most major book sellers, but the cover used in their catalogues was a placeholder brown earth serpent one. It is the same book as this one.
In late August (once I have the books in-hand) I'll be offering signed/sketched artist edition copies of the book off my website, and I'll be sure to post a journal entry about it. Artist editions will $20 + shipping.

In all of your books, in how many steps is it explained?

I'm not sure how to answer this. The book is divided up where it shows you several different ways to draw each piece of anatomy. There's many side/spot illustrations and around a dozen full-body dragons that you can draw step-by-step.

What is the minimum of steps in your books and with what, because I have a dino drwaing book where a whole complex dino is in 3 steps and I don't want that again.

For drawing a piece of a dragon (the anatomy sections) it's 3-6 steps per piece (like an arm or leg or horn style). For a full bodied dragon it's usually 13ish.

Just bought this, going to try to do a few of the tutorials every day, once in my sketchbook and then once again in Inkscape :3 thanks! I have been looking for a good book of tutorials that teach wire frame sketches so I can draw the poses better, as I can do fairly well drawing in general if I heavily reference existing pictures by other artists, but I need to learn to use wire frames to give me more flexibility to do original poses. Your book looks like it will help quite a bit with that, among other things <3

I already have two of your books,I want to make a fanfiction comic on my favorite games and these books have inspired me to draw.Right now I haven't truly started however I'm practicing but been trying to perfect it,but the boxes are kind of confusing though,overall great books.
