My third how-to-draw book, DragonArt: Evolution* is due out this August. This time it's cover-to-cover, all about dragons, and features a higher illustration and page count then either of my two previous books. It's been over a year in the making, and I'm so excited to finally see it published!The books can currently be preordered from amazon, barnes and noble, and most major book sellers, but the cover used in their catalogues was a placeholder brown earth serpent one. It is the same book as this one.
In late August (once I have the books in-hand) I'll be offering signed/sketched artist edition copies of the book off my website, and I'll be sure to post a journal entry about it. Artist editions will $20 + shipping.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS! i love it so much. its helped me alot. my two favs were the black dragon with the ancient green markings and green smoke from its body and the dragon liches.

Wow, I just went out and bought the book this morning, and it was soo worth it. I have your first book as well, but this one is much more in depth when it comes down to the specifics. I especially enjoy the section on underbite vs. overbite, a feature I never put much thought into before now. I also appreciate the color do's and don'ts, it makes picking a realistic color palette almost effortless. The illustrations are simply gorgeous, and the guides easy to understand. Thanks for writing it!

Perhaps! If I did I'd definitely be looking to have a more in-depth anatomy section chapter in the beginning before moving onto step-by-steps, something I feel that DA: Fantasy Characters could have done a bit better. ^^
