For the forty third drawing of the Fifty Dates challenge, I decided to reimagine Brian and Rhonda as human beings and I actually like how they turned out, especially in a different style for them, but enough to at least be recognizable.Brian O'Quinn & Rhonda Paxton © me

Rhonda: Guess we'll have to check out the town ourselves.

Human R: That's a good enough plan.

(So Brian, Rhonda and their human counterparts wander around Elmore to find out which world is which)

Rhonda: Do you see any more of your kind, Rhonda?

Brian: What does the Sun look like? If it has a smiling face, it's probably my world.

Human B: Not really. It's just a regular old star. Besides, having a sun with a face sounds creepy.

Rhonda: We should check and see which sun it is right now.

Human R: As long as we don't get blind, we should do just that.

(Rhonda shades her eyes and looks at the sun to see...)

Sun (smiling): Hello there.

Human R (freaked out): WAH! Th-th-the sun talked!

Human B (also freaking out): H-How is that possible?!

Rhonda: As far as I know, he's always been able to talk. It would be strange if he didn't!

Human R: Maybe for you and your Brian, but not for us. The sun never talks at all in our world.

Brian: What about the moon? Or the trees, or stop signs?

Human B: They're normal as well.

Brian: That's... rather strange!

Human R: It's normal for us in our world.

Rhonda: At least we know where we are now.

Human B: But here's a question: how do we blend in? The people are going to wonder about me and Rhonda, the human version, of course.

Brian: Let's put it this way, in our world it's a good thing to stand out and look strange. The most popular kids in our school are a balloon, a cactus and a talking cloud.

Human R: That's...so unusual. Sure, in our world, everyone is of different shapes and sizes, but nothing like the ones you mentioned just now.

Rhonda: You mean, everyone's just the same species with no other intelligent beings around?

(Brian and Rhonda gasped in shocked upon hearing this)

Brian: I don't think I could live in a world like that! It would be too creepy being surrounded by people the same as me!

Human B: I don't think I could handle living in a world where everything is alive.

Rhonda: It's not so bad. Objects have unique views on the world that people like you and me could never understand.

Human R: It'll be weird if something I was drinking suddenly talked about its calories and nutritional values.

Rhonda: That happened to me several times.

Brian: It happens to everyone sometimes. Heck, my friend Darwin claimed that he got attacked by several soda cans after he put him in the recycling bin.

Human B: Um, how often does something like that happen?

Brian (shrugs): Every now and then. I know, I have to get use to it eventually.

Human B: Anything else I have to... get used to?

Brian: Do you have a Larry that holds down every single job?

Human R: We have a guy named Larry, but he works... 3 jobs at most.

Brian *astonished*: He works only three jobs?

Human B: What do you mean, only three? He's overworked as it is.

Rhonda: Believe it or not, our Larry works at every single job in Elmore, except for Halloween. In fact, he's the reason that Elmore's economy is good.

Human B: What happens Halloween?

Rhonda: Sorry, I meant holidays. But to answer your question, he takes a day off. Otherwise, if he quits all of them, the town will go in complete chaos.
