For the forty third drawing of the Fifty Dates challenge, I decided to reimagine Brian and Rhonda as human beings and I actually like how they turned out, especially in a different style for them, but enough to at least be recognizable.Brian O'Quinn & Rhonda Paxton © me

Brian: Larry processes the paychecks for everyone else in the city. Without him, nobody can get paid and anarchy results.

Human R: Your Larry must be really working hard just to keep the town's economy in good shape.

Rhonda: He sure is. In fact, he can even be in multiple places at once.

Human B: Your Larry must have superpowers or something. Our Larry would have gotten tired after doing three jobs a week.

Rhonda: Well who does the rest of the jobs?

Human R: His relatives, of course.

Rhonda: Our Larry doesn't have a family that we know of.

Human B: He does in our universe. All of them are pretty good workers in their own rights.

Human R: What other strange stuff happens in this world?

Brian: There's the place called the Forest of Doom.

Human B: What happens in there?

Brian: There are dangerous monsters that lives in there and if you're not careful, you'll end up in their stomachs.

Human B: We have a forest with bears and wolves but... no monsters!

Rhonda: That's...pretty unusual.

Brian: Does your world also have a parallel dimension where the world's mistakes are sent away forever?

Human R: I don't think so. Why?

Rhonda: Gumball told me about how he had to rescue one of his friends from that dimension after the entire world forgot about her.

Human B: That sounds like something that can happen in a movie.

Brian: Why? What happens to the world's mistakes in your world?

Human B: Nothing, to be honest. We just ignore and pretend they don't exist.

Brian: It must be tough when they decide to make themselves known anyway.

Human R: Sadly, it's the truth.

Rhonda: Wow. There are so many differences between us!

Human B: It sure is. Say, what's your Watterson like your universe?

Brian: He means well, but he's impulsive and usually gets himself hurt in the process. But he usually gets a happy ending anyway.

Rhonda: Overall, he's a good person with a great heart.

Human R: That sounds exactly like our Gumball.

Human B: What about your Darwin in this world?

Brian: He was a normal goldfish, but he evolved and grew legs. Now he's Gumball's brother.

Human R: That's just weird. The Darwin in our universe is a normal kid who got adopted by the Wattersons when he was young after he was taken into Social Service.

Brian: Then... what happened to their goldfish?

Human R: They never have a goldfish.

Rhonda: Do they still have a crazy pet turtle that can't be be harmed by any weapon forged by man?

Human B (incredulous): Now you're just pulling our legs now.

(Brian pulls out his phone and shows them a picture of the terrifying turtle)

Human B: That's it? It looks cranky than evil.

Rhonda: Trust me, its bite is worse than its bark.

Human R: How could a turtle be that bad?

Rhonda: For starters, it got caught in a horrific fireworks explosion. An entire van was reduced to scrap metal, but the turtle walked away without a scratch.

Human B: Kinda like the Terminator movies.

Brian: Yup, that describes the turtle perfectly.

Human R: Why can't the Wattersons get rid of it then?

Rhonda: Because even though it's evil, they really do care for it like any other pet.

Human B:...That's pretty weird.
