WINNER OF THE THIRD PLACE / DARKSIDERS & DEVIANTART CONTEST-Ok deviants, i have been totally devoted for about two weeks now for this thing and finally i have managed to finish it. ( just about time! hehehe ) it is my entry for the awesome and exciting Darksiders contest.
What is it about ? well, i´ve always had weird and creepy nightmares about the end of the world and i thought to develop something about those lines. what if you would wake up from a terrible nightmare to sudently discover that the end of the world has already began?
At first i thought of doing the usual destruction caused by meteors or nuclear nukes outside the window, but then i came up with the idea that adding the actual monsters and demons from the Darksiders game could be pretty cool.
So thats basically the main concept for my illustration of the end of days. A day were i wake up and find myself in the middle of the Apocalypse, sorrounded by chaos and horrible monsters.

Deviants keep making up this imaginary dialogues and lines for the piece and all of them are totally awesome. I like to think they are kind of a homage for the illustration since people digged it a lot and got related to it at some point. Yours is not the exception, i love it.

jajajaja, no creo que tenga que preocuparse demasidado, todavía me falta mucho para poder alcanzarlo y ponerme a su nivel. Con respecto al Nahualloso, primero terminar el Eddie_x que iba de portada en lugar de los rap_policias para poder montar una carpetica aquí en DeviantArt dedicada a lo que hice con el Clan Nahualli.

Watching outside my window isnt what i could call an exciting experience. Thats why i thought of doing the piece Aurora, it will really change the way i start my day after looking outside my window. The apocalypse! thats something new, bring it on!!! hahaha.

word on that, isnt it irritating when you are having the best sleeping of your life and then all of a sudden someone on your house starts yelling and screaming like its the end of the world? sometimes things are like that in my life and i just mixe it up with the Darksiders video game experience.

I got a Deviantart and a Darksiders t-shirt, also a poster signed by Joe Mad, 650 american express gift card and a copy of the Darksiders game. Althought it seems they are not going to send me the game cause i dont live in the U.S. So they will give me more money instead of the game.
I really wanted to receive the game as a prize, but it doesnt matter. I´m very excited with Joe Mad comment on my work and i think its a prizeless thing to achieve as an artist. I´ll enjoy the rest of the prize thou.

I hope so too Aranuman ! because visually it looks appealing as hell and it doesnt dissapoint with such an artistic and creative development
directed by Joe Mad. I think i´ll have the oportunity to play some off it this weekend so i´ll be telling you how does the story works along with the playing mode.
