WINNER OF THE THIRD PLACE / DARKSIDERS & DEVIANTART CONTEST-Ok deviants, i have been totally devoted for about two weeks now for this thing and finally i have managed to finish it. ( just about time! hehehe ) it is my entry for the awesome and exciting Darksiders contest.
What is it about ? well, i´ve always had weird and creepy nightmares about the end of the world and i thought to develop something about those lines. what if you would wake up from a terrible nightmare to sudently discover that the end of the world has already began?
At first i thought of doing the usual destruction caused by meteors or nuclear nukes outside the window, but then i came up with the idea that adding the actual monsters and demons from the Darksiders game could be pretty cool.
So thats basically the main concept for my illustration of the end of days. A day were i wake up and find myself in the middle of the Apocalypse, sorrounded by chaos and horrible monsters.

Thanks again, but I won't get my hopes up too high. I'd be very happy with just the honor of being a semi-finalist and the month subscription but it would be so freaking awesome to win that poster signed by Joe Mad! And Lord knows I could use the money. hehe.

Word on that. I think that every prize that they have for each winner its a complete package of great things, x-box, posters, the game, deviantwear, money, and besides all, the recognition of a proffesional artist as Joe Madureira picking and judging all the artowrk by himself.
We should consider ourselves semi-finalists very lucky and already winners.

This one took me around two or three weeks if i´m not wrong. There were a lot of element that i had to draw to make the composition work the way wanted it to. At the end i would have changed some stuff but it came up pretty well, and i think its working because they have informed me that i´m a semi-finalist. Thanks a lot Oni, lets way for the final results.

Si, estoy haciendo todo lo que puedo para improvisar y mejorar cada vez más mi nivel gráfico y supongo que se nota el progreso con esta ilustración de Darksiders. Me alegro que le guste viejo Gustvoc.

no pero se paso tiene que montar la iamgen d la replica del afiche promocional de la pared esta brutal todito mi hermano tienen toda la escencia del concurso para mi! y ademas manejada con algo de humor con la baba suya hay al despertar muy bacano los colores y todo el nivel de detalle no parce deberas se paso pa mi ya es ganador asi no gane hahahahaha!!! este dibujo tiene tanto camello que me imagino que gano algo de nivel hahahaha!! algo es algo en caso de no llevarce las consolas y eso mis felicitaciones
