Look pixel art, dolls, bases, all that crap, hell, even KISS bases like you have here... it's an art... it's not... just throwing some lines on a canvas and saying, "Oh look, I made a base." you have to at least make it look natural. It's not that hard, just make the top of the heads look round, stuff like that.
