First of all....what's the point in asking since you obviously already did it.
That's just really rude, and not cool. and I would kindly ask you to please take it down and refrain from just taking my art without permission.
You should just simple wait for your friend to be done, I normally don't have a problem with icon use if you ask nicely upfront.
Don't ask, and do it anyway.

Understood. I had just found it before hand, and I apologize for not asking sooner. Unfortunately, I'm not able to change my profile pic right now, since my PC's busted & I have to use my 3DS to even access Deviantart at all.
