They Don't steal each others names.... they made them originally in different concepts. Even though a Cameron movie and a Cartoony one.
dont pout about it. everybody wins, you must see both movies like Avatar, and the upcoming The Last Airbender.

I love this! This is the problem I have every time I say Avatar. All my friends except one thinks I mean the Cameron movie. So I've started referring to them as "the smurf movie" and "Avatar". lol

Wow this is awesome. I personally like both these stories (airbender more though) I really only like Avatar (blue people) for the visual effects. The story is pretty much just a glorified Pochahontas , don't tell JC I said that

I hated both of the movies. Well, AVATAR by James Cameron was OKAY at best, just not as good as they all hyped it up to be... ridiculous. The Last Airbender was, besides Vampires Suck, the worst movie of the year. Hands down. But we can, of course blame that on M. Night Shamalamadingdong <<< Named by Matt or... Trey? Maybe? xD Anyway, that was irrelevant. But, yeah, The Last Airbender series? = COMPLETE AWESOMENESS.

Well, I know that on the popular rating website, Rotten Tomatoes.com, it only recieved a rating of 6 % making it a rotten tomatoe, not a fresh one. Of course 14 % of the audience liked it but you have to think what percentage of small children the audience was. Let's just say enough to make MJ turn in his grave. (I apologize, that was mean.) :3 Anyway, I've seen it and the characters are flat as cardboard, and while the graphics are pretty amazing, it just doesn't flow very well.
