They Don't steal each others names.... they made them originally in different concepts. Even though a Cameron movie and a Cartoony one.
dont pout about it. everybody wins, you must see both movies like Avatar, and the upcoming The Last Airbender.

I saw both, and to be honest, I'd rather see M. Night's again. To me, when I movie has to rely too much on it's effects to get by, it's not that great. I personally think that James Cameron's film are becoming less and less creative, and more about how much he can milk his own name. At least M. Night tried!

And failed. He butchered AtLA. So bad, it made me rage. I mean, even my seven year old nephew wanted to get up in the middle of the movie and leave because it was so bad. Now tell me it's a good movie now.
You want to talk about someone trying to milk their own name, I think it would me M. Night. I mean, how many months did it take before he was already showing previews of Devil? At least Cameron waited a year before releasing another movie.
M. Night rushed his movie too much, and it showed. Badly. he changed things that shouldn't have been changed, and too many things were changed at that. Mixed with bad acting, the movie was a bust in my opinion. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it. The only good thing were the special effects. And I mean the ONLY good thing.
Cameron's idea was original, the movie was just stripped of a lot of creative story elements so it didn't end up being several hours long. Hell, even after being stripped, it was still a long movie.
People just tend to focus on the fact that the Na'vi are like the Natives of Earth, Jake isn't and he falls in love with one of them. They don't see the world that has been created within the movie. They see a tree, not the forest for what it is. (ironic I use that analogy, I think, heh)
I do respect your opinion though. If you like it, you like it, I guess. I'm merely stating my opinion here, your comment just happens to be the one I commented on.

Lolz. That is what i totally thought when i saw a snippet of the movie. I havn't brought myself to watch the movie version yet cause i heard it sucked really bad. I'm on book 3 at the moment in Watching though.
