my drawing expression feels sad and strong this way... I never felt drawing Phoebe quite as good as this one. On the other hand, pairing up with Arnold without Helga seems like a different fic. I cant explain how Helga was gone. I leave this up to you guys what comes up next in your imagination.

Here's what I think happened:
This probably happened when the gang was 14-15. One day Helga was walking home from school. A drunk driver didn't know where he was going and the car had slammed to her, knocking Helga unconscious. The driver kept driving.
A couple minutes later, Arnold was walking home from school as well and saw Helga's unconscious body. He started to have tears in his eyes and cried for help. Mr. Green heard Arnold's cries and called the ambulance.
Phoebe, Gerald, and the rest of the gang were getting ice cream when they heard the siren of an ambulance. Phoebe went to have a peek. She saw Helga on the stretcher, not moving. Arnold was walking right next to the stretcher, crying.
Phoebe began to cry. Her best friend was in the hospital. She told everyone that Helga is going to the hospital. The whole gang ran to the hospital, either crying or were in complete shock.
When Helga was in the hospital, she woke up to Arnold right by her side.
"Helga!" Arnold said as he started to cry harder than he ever had.
Helga was too weak to say anything.
The whole gang then opened the door to see Arnold crying. They then walked closer until they heard
A doctor then walked to the door and told everyone to get out.
Helga replied saying Arnold, Phoebe, and Gerald to stay but everyone could leave. The doctor agreed.
The doctor told Helga she was lucky she survived, for now at least, and it was thanks to Arnold.
Arnold smiled.
The doctor left a couple minutes later, and Helga was in terrible pain. Arnold and Phoebe ran to the same doctor, and the doctor came in.
Helga was now in a coma.
The doctor thought she died.
"It can't be..." Arnold cried.
Phoebe couldn't say anything. She just lost her best friend.
What happened in the picture was just a couple minutes later.
How is my scenario?

To add on, just a few weeks later, the day before her supposed funeral, she walks to Mr. Simmons's class in the middle of the day. Arnold sees her and cries in happiness. Phoebe does the same thing. The rest of the class is in shock.

If I were to make up how this happened, I would say they're about 12 or 13 here, and Helga got some sort of incurable illness a year or two earlier that ultimately took her life. When Helga found out she was devastated, but continued to put up a tough front and didn't even tell Phoebe about it. For the next year or so her family finally paid attention to her and treated her well, and she learned to drop her bully act and be kind and down-to-earth with others, including Arnold. This earned her more friends, although everyone who knew her earlier wondered why she turned over a new leaf, especially Phoebe, Gerald and Arnold. Finally, about three months before she passed, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Miriam called and informed Phoebe right away and she rushed there. Miriam and Bob were there, Miriam silently depressed, sometimes quietly weeping, while Bob was furious that the doctors couldn't do more to help. Olga flew in the next day and was openly sobbing and unable to say anything besides "My baby sister..." and although Helga found this annoying, she was grateful that her family and best friend was with her. Phoebe asked her, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" and Helga casually said that she didn't want anyone to worry and she didn't want a repeat of the Monkey Scoliosis incident. Needless to say, Phoebe was shocked, angry and terrified of losing her best friend. In the weeks that followed Helga asked Phoebe to bring Arnold to the hospital alone--Gerald had moved away with his family half a year earlier. Arnold and Helga were now friends since she was now kind on the surface. She finally had the guts to tell him she loved him deeply since pre school, and she only wished she'd had the nerve to tell him earlier and not take it back. Arnold was unable to respond when he heard this combined with seeing her under weight and ashen faced in a hospital bed. He needed several days to digest and reflect on what happened. By the time he realized he had felt the same way for her for several months now, it was too late for him to tell her because she fell into a coma. After another month, she passed. What happened in the picture was a day after her funeral.

How I think Helga diedβ¦
I thing her dad had been abusing her step mom for years. This is why she was always drunk. I think her fits of blind rage were getting worse and Helga walked in on him beating the hell out of his wife. Helga probably tried to stop him and he turned on her a beet her savagely. He might have thought she was dead and dumped her and his wifeβs bodies in the park. Iβm guessing Arnold and maybe Jerald might have run across them. Helga was still alive but dyeing of internal bleeding. Will Jerald went to get help Arnold probably tried as best he could to save her but it was already too late.

i fined that im good at coming up with subtext. ^_^ thats how i right fan fix. if i know we show, game, movie ect then i can figerout a possible untolds story hapening withing the story as well as the stat of ther mineds. here i figered Mr. Patacky is violent his wife is a drunk and in the pick Hega is some how dead so i put it together as if playing clue. ^_^ a good exampal is my Honey i Shrunk the Kids fan fic were i figered Anty was inlove with Ron. so with the help of the ant goddess i brot her baclk to life and terned her (mostly) human and now she hase to get Ron to fall for her. ^_^ sorry if im talking to much. i get chatty some times tehe

holey shit! i always thought Phoebe was inlove with Helga, so her reaction is purfect coss shes compleetly lost now. and hearing Arnald talk about hw much he loved her is probably making it hurt worce. i hate to say this but i could raly see her standing up and walking away without a word and terning updead the next day vea suiside. O_O' Arnold would probably have a nurves brake down and need to go on anty psycotic drugs
