I have been accused of suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome", but no, I reject that. I reject it not because it is descriptive of myself or my views, but because it is a distractor, an abusive term applied by those who are really suffering from their addiction to Trump's lies and echo his hatred, to those of us who are critical of Trump.

We should assess Trump's Presidency critically, like we should assess all political leader's stewardship, no matter what the country or the name given to the nation's leader, be it President, Prime Minister, Dictator, whatever. The point being that Trump's term as President just cannot stand up to critical assessment of any kind. For example, Trump's tax policies were quite irresponsible. Gave Corporations big tax breaks AFTER their operations moved offshore, leaving people in the US unemployed. Gave bit tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy, small tax cuts to the lower 50% of wage earners but in a few years, the wealthy get more tax cuts, while the lowest 50% get tax hikes. In short, Trump's tax policies add $7 TRILLION to the Federal debt by 2032. Withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal while lifting sanctions that allows Iran to produce more oil, undercutting US oil production. Undermining Social Security, even though it is fully funded by tax payers and is self supporting. None of these things actually make sense, economically, but this is fully in keeping with his personal financial history. How can a man make a casino go broke?
