Pokeddex Day 10: Favorite Fire TypeI swear I'm going to get these done by the end of December!
This was a touch choice, because Fire is my favorite type. I love pretty much every Fire Pokemon there is. However, Charmander is my favorite starter, he's cute, he's tough, and he holds a special place in my heart because Zero the Charmander was my partner in my first PMD run.

Huh... I have mixed feelings about this one.
Cute expression and overall posing and whatnot... I really want to like it, but I'm just a little torn on a few details.

Well, I've never claimed to be perfect, haha. I mean, I'm looking at four things right now I would change about her if these weren't quick little things I'm doing for practice.

I see two in particular, I think; I'd probably increase the shoulder size a little and make the waist/legs a little smaller. I like the eyes and the face/head design a lot, though.
I should probably be doing more practice, myself.

I have a tendency to draw Charmander with wide hips. It's something I've been trying to work on.

Hmm... maybe you could try to get a little curvature of the back in there from the shoulder blades, and expose a little of its side under the arms before transitioning into the legs. You wouldn't need a lot, especially, if you aim to maintain the chibi-esque form you're using here.
