I think I first touched a drawing tablet when I was 6 (or atleast it's what I have my first memories of drawing with a tablet from), then I went back to it every now and then, but actually seriously started at the age of 14 so it makes 8 years. Although if you look back at my DA you can see that I've only very recently started improving compared to how early I started, I could say this is because I only knew of photoshop at the early times and it's not really very good for drawing since it's ment for image manipulation... later I discovered Sai and now Krita, having better tools has motivated me to improve faster much like with traditional art.
