In case you've been living under a rock, "Line Rider" is a flash game made by , and turned into the most popular, widely known deviation of all times(I bet he sold his soul or somehting for that XD just kidding)I got hooked on the game myself, and this is my little "thank you" for the artist for giving me something fun to do and to think about during english class.
Now if someone would finally tell me how to draw straight lines?! They keep coming out bumpy and squiggly for me!

nice idea there with the 3d track and all, i was considering this 1 at school one day, i wonder what it would be like to have Line Rider: Source. in otherwords, linerider with the Source engine. so hence the track building stage would still be the 2d style we all love

Nopes, All flash. There are lots of ways of drawing straight lines I dont know how to do it in the web version but in the stand-alone version, you hold down right click then left click where you want the line to go and quickly release right click and left click. That gives you a perfectly straight line. With a lot of practise and patience you can do those grids and loops. Im a bigger fan of free hand lines though. I am almost done a quick video that I will put on youtube... It wont be anything amazing, just a few "warp" jumps.

Well basically a teleport box/warp box is a whole lot of lines usually parallel to each other to form a solid box shape with all the line edges pointing outwards, when the little sleigh man hits into it, he gets propelled with GREAT FORCE AND SPEED into a random direction, of course he falls of the sled... but thats not the point... Its awesome try it, draw a basic ramp and at the end draw a box. Its fun

What I'm wondering is how they make the lines so exact, like on the gridded slopes you see in the youtube videos. Do they use a different program to do that?

This is awesome. I have been playing line rider now daily since it came out. I am addicted, and have done some insane stunts, things like a backwards double flip, a grind on the front of the sleigh and even a teleport/warp box.
If you dont understand what Im saying, I might put up some links to vids I made on youtube of linerider...
