because I love Tails and Cosmo and Sonic X***edit***
So many people comment on this picture O.o
In truth, this picture relates to the final scenes when tails sort of has Cosmo as a seed and needs to water her, it made me want to continue that story and so Cosmo is back again, she grew from the seed thanks to Tails watering and caring for her, but silly Tails got so sad after she left him that he still desperately waters her not seeing that she is already back, while Cosmo is like "why is that silly Tails pouring water on my head?" XD

The seed, according to most sources, would more than likely be a child of Cosmo's. Its not explained in the Japanese version, but Cosmo says in the US version that shooting her will spread the seeds of her people, meaning Tails is growing Cosmo's child

Except that in the jap version, there was an attempt at reviving her. It's complicated, but long story short - the result was that very same seedling. So, putting the two and two together, that seedling really is her and she really DID survive. In a nutshell:
ENG: "Goodbye forever"
JAP: "Perhaps we may meet again someday"
Damn you 4kids, so letting a one-shot character like that random rebel girl live is necessary, but showing the fact that there was an attempt at reviving Cosmo that was semi-successful is suddenly a problem? Bunch of morons...
