Looking at the process is very interesting. I enjoyed this little how-to-guide- in a way, it makes the final piece feel more alive to see this.

This might sound rude (and I don't mean it to!), but I actually prefer how the picture looked with the white background. The final result looks too crowded.

I've never been particulary fond of collages, though, so it probably looks different to other people.

Okay, enough negativity. I have to say that I adore the way you color, and specially your shading. You really push your material and yourself to excel, and it shows.

I've seen many collages with white backgrounds that look awesome, but I notice when it comes to my shit, they just don't click when it's white. Like you said, must be a personal taste on how one sees something. *shrugs*

Dear lord, this certainly does look like some time and effort went into it. Which, I'm sure, is the point. lol

Very nice, and very informative. I myself am still not getting the effects I would like with my markers and pencils, and will see about using a few of the techniques you mentioned here. See if it helps.

Pretty much the same way I do stuff actually. I love seeing the creative processes of other people, it's always interesting to see.

Same here. I'm a whore for these behind-the-scene stuff, so I tend to buy a lot of DVDs that are 2-disc specials and whatnot just so I can see how they created this particular segment or listen to commentaries, etc.
