Something I'm working on. My mom got me a book on digital coloring techniques so I figured I'd draw something to practice on.A picture of three characters from one of my favorite RPG's: Threads of Fate (AKA Dewprism)
The characters are (left to right): Maya (PAIN to draw >< ), Mint, and Rue
I'm pretty sure there are mistakes in this. It's a work in progress. If you see any, please tell me so I can fix it before I begin coloring.
Maya, Mint, and Rue are property of Squaresoft....SquareEnix....whatever.
Time to Complete: about 8 hours.
Materials: Bristol Paper, .5 mechanical pencil, various erasers (Gum Erasers, Eraser Sticks, etc.), Photoshop for cleanup
Oh, and as usual. You touch without my permission, you die....got it!?

Is this my imagination, or maya's arms are... errh... kinda short
And in my opinion, mint bends a little too much. Try making her bended less ( maybe 10-15 degrees to horizontal line )

All I can say is keep trying, draw in an environment that's comfortable for you (I like listening to music that matches my drawing), and keep a positive attitude.

I LOVE mints pose that looks soooo hard to do from a drawing standpoint. detail on maya is perfect. rues pose is great, but just from a technical view, his weapon should be about the length of rues chest to his feet. just a tiny bit short, but still...11/10!!!

It was kinda loose on her, and maybe I did draw it too tight.
But I always thought that the middle part of it was tighter, and maybe I got carried away.
I have no idea what I'm saying right now XD
I blame this on my lack of reference material (I used the manual). Yeah, that's it. >>;

lol. Mm-hmm. I saw it a long time ago and wanted it, so I bought it... xD Didn't know what to expect, my brother like told me it was a crappy game. Funny part though, he played it more than me.

'bout the only thing I spot you might want to fix is that Rue's face is a bit "long" in the side view - there's not usually that much space between where the ear etc. are, and where the back corner of the eyes etc. start.

I was basing it off of the game's style, which is a kind deformed style of anime....but maybe I did overdo it
