[ Courteous | Sheepish | Private | Determined | Short Temper | Weak-willed ]When first meeting Jean, he instantly comes off as very well educated and well-off. His mannerisms are definitely of those from a high-class family, and he can sometimes come off as supercilious, but this would mostly be a ignorant mistake due to his lack of interaction with those from a lower class. He always tries to make an effort to be as kind and courteous as he can be- has he can barely tolerate rudeness and strongly believes in the mantra "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". He often keeps to himself due to being generally shy in nature. He has a low self esteem as a result of his strict upbringing, and it often leads to him having a lot of internalised anger toward himself and others. However, he is extremely hesitant to do things outside of what is accepted, and therefore results to bottling his anger more than he likes. This leads to him having a somewhat short fuse, especially on days where he is tired. He often keeps to himself. Whether it be his personal affairs or how he is feeling, he usually keeps those to himself; often saying small white lies to reassure those he cares about that he is fine.

Jean was born to a matriarchal family- a prestigious family of Vulpix and Ninetales, Kanto and Alolan alike. His mother was the head of the family. He was designated female at birth and, as a secondborn female child of his parents, he was not heir to the family by any means. But he never had any real desires to actually be the head of his family- in fact, he often felt a certain degree of discomfort when being referred to as female, and he often dreaded the idea of being the head of his matriarchal family. It took him a few years to recognise his gender dysphoria, but at the age of 15 he came to learn of transgender terms and started to refer to himself with male pronouns online. He knew it would be a struggle for his conservative family to respect his pronouns, so he waited until he was 18 - before going off to study abroad for university - before coming out to them. To his surprise, his mother was accepting, but it didn't stop his extended family from being narrow-minded and opinionated about the matter.In his 18th year, Jean started to study abroad in Montezia. He majored in early childhood teaching, while minoring in English. It was in his years of studying away from home where he was able to express himself without being suffocated by his familial expectations. He began to wear less dresses and more male clothing- essentially buying a whole new wardrobe upon arriving at his accommodation. Life went well in this period of his life. He was exceeded in his university work, as he mostly kept to himself and studied at any opportunity, but making sure he was able to spend time for himself doing what he loved like painting, reading and listening to music. Upon completing his studies after three years, he returned to L'orizene with his new degree in hand. He quickly acquired a job at a school as a pre-prep teacher, and he knew immediately that he would thoroughly enjoy his career path. He moved back to live in his family estate, but he is hoping to earn enough money to live in his apartment away from the judgemental eyes of his extended family.

He doesn't care much for wealth. He would happily live on a teachers' wage if he had to, but he is also extremely grateful for the money he receives from his mother monthly.
He loves children! It's the main reason why he chose to become an early childhood teacher. He'd like to have children of his own in the future, but is uncertain about it due to his gender dysphoria. He'd still like to adopt, though.
He doesn't use his moves very often. However if it's a hot day, you can find him chilling his bedroom down using his own abilities rather than cranking up his power bill.
