I had the idea to draw this for quite a long time, but than i saw 's contest, and I finaly forced my self to draw it. So this is my entry for the contest.Media: faber-castell color pencils (as usual)
Time: 2 hours
[Edit]: The story behind this drawing is actually quite sad. The girl in the picture is going to die, and is transforming in to a 1000 butterfiles, which will fly away to freedom, but the red one on her head will stay for the memory of her. But she faced her fears and she is happy.

She finally understood that her dreams, everything she thought lost, were just a step away. She was dying but a smile on her face was the sign of hope, a hope for a new beggining, she knew that she had to leave, but her beutiful smile will always prevail in this world, as a butterfly.

What is your natural color? I never actually dyed (not sure of the spelling) my hair.

hehe its actually close to my eyes, a shade of brown just under black with reddish tint/highlights in the sun. (you got the spelling right) I like to dye my hair, but i am lucky in the sense that my hair is really thick and takes to dye really well. my mom on the other hand has really fine hair so she has to be careful when she picks her hair dye.

OMG... I can't believe it xD MY hair is really really dark brown with a reddish shine in the sun too xD LOL And it's very thick. And unfortunetly naturally curly.

so was mine, its utter evil, now i keep it short though because it used to bush out horibbly. And the weather here is so retarded and humid and hot, so when i straightened it that didnt last, then it would get really hot.
I jsut died it platinum blonde though.
