Someone on discord showed us a really cool site and I love it! Thank you Lilla!
I combined it with an already colored picture I had in firealpaca and worked with it on the layers and I'm really happy with this!

Also warning cause I'm not a good writer and it gets sappy at the end.

Magic classes had been rough on these two. With finding out news of this weeks homework Vales smiled to Cobalt, sighing happily. Finding a music box and varying the volume of it couldn't be that hard right? It wasn't like wind fighting or Gurp hunting at all. Surely it had to be relaxing if not in the least bit as easy. Soon, the duo took off and took little time to find the box due to enhanced hearing learned a few weeks ago. Vales was happy, she was learning magic faster and tuning into it better when she was in class with Cobalt than alone. Cobalt was probably the best friend she ever had aside from Ramen who acted like her older sister and wished she hadn't been so shy around him as a wyngling. Vales had brought along a book. One that even if it looked like a torn up mess meant the world to her. To prove how much she valued Cobalt as a friend, she wanted to show him something she'd kept with her all this time.
The two settled in the grass with the music box, taking turns winding it up and practicing to change the volume or pitch of it as the pitter patter of pebbles on earth sounded lightly in the background. The earth students were doing their homework, making relaxing patterns with stone and had not bothered the two of them yet. Cobalt was winding up the box this time, shooting the usual banter so that an awkward silence would not fill the air. As he set it down, Vales started to quiet the volume and not pay attention around her as her eyes fluttered shut. Cobalt followed after, the melody of the music box relaxing the two gros. It wasn't long till a stone came whizzing in the air, hitting Vales on the snout and cause a loud thud that made Cobalt's eyes shoot open. Looks as if one of the earth students had gotten distracted or wasn't a big fan of the music.
Cobalt was quick to act, behaving like the gentleman he was. He got up to help Vales, checking where the rock had hit her. It wasn't much but the impact had caused her to get a nose bleed. He quickly grabbed their things as he helped her stand on her two feet. Vales couldn't be happier to have a friend like him as her dazed mind fogged up. Cobalt snaked an arm under her own and under her wings as they walked side by side to see Netty.
Netty laughed, somewhat embarrassed for Vales as she got a rag for her to clean her muzzle off with. "Maybe you two should take a break from practicing from today? You guys seemed to have gotten the basics down at least and you can work on fine tuning tomorrow or sometime later in the week." Vales chuckled lightly as she held the rag with one hand and rubbed her neck fluff with her other, feeling rather happy Netty said that to the two of them. Cobalt smiled, offering to hang out at the tappery for a bit before Vales had to go work on somethings. She only responded with a head nod as they walked off, Cobalt handing her back the book.
In the middle of drinks He had finally brought up a question about the book.
"Well you see... you remember how we met and to say sorry for falling, I got you some flowers?" Vales said, wondering if he forgot as she turned to a page in the book. A flower, now pressed flat and passed dead laid there on the off white page. "I kept that flower you gave back to me. It meant a lot to me at the time and it still does today. I wanted to show it to you and say no matter what, I'll never forget you and you're the best friend I'll ever have, Cobalt."
