Backstory

Viv's family tree started back in Sinnoh, her great grandmother being a great Pokemon Handler. After moving to Hoenn to work more on her career and with more types of Pokemon, Vera (Viv's ancestor) settled in with the Draconid people in Sootopolis where her family grew and settled down. Vera carried down tales of mythical pokemon and life changing legends. Through time, her family held those stories close.

Ever since Viv was a child, she loved the stories she was told from her mother and father. Songs about a Shaymin changing forms and flying away in flower fields or poems about ruined civilization captivated her. Her own Pokemon, Kara, was even bred from the bloodline of Ninetails and Vulpix her ancestor had grow very close to. When given a chance to explore, Viv took it with her Vulpix. It sparked a love of wandering into the unknown and finding answers. Viv wasn't cut out for being a full on battling trainer and Prof. Birch had offered her another job instead; Adventure out there, find all of history's lost stories and record them. To tell the truth and bust these mythical stories made her excited not only to research what really happened, but maybe to also make a few legends herself occur.

Viv yawned as she woke up, the pillow case leaving marks from the folds of the fabric being pressed against her face while asleep. She stumbled from her bed, not bothering to remake her bed as she focused on taming her hair first. The short wild red hair was a mess on her head. She blinked the tiredness from her eyes as shepicked up her brush and started taming her locks.
Kara huffed as she lifted herself up from the pet bed by her master's desk. Having been awake for quite some time, the pokemon was antsy from waiting on Viv to start the day.
"I know, I know-" The young woman started before being cut off.
"VUL! VULPIX!" The small fire type cried, trying to convey it's unhappiness.
Viv looked confused for a second before tying up her hair and placing a hand to her forehead "Am I really getting chewed out by you for over sleeping?!"
"Pix!" Kara chirped back, trotting up to Viv with her eyes closed.
"Ok ok, We'll head out after breakfast."
