True, Escalation in FOC is dumbed down. With a wave limit and upgrades.Β 

You almost always win.Β 


In WFC the waves were without end and it became pretty difficult after wave 17.

And you could choose between all Autobots or Decepticons. Which isn't possible in FOC because of the special abilities.Β 


But MP in FOC is superior with balanced classes as you said.

You got a pic of Armada Prime in full gestalt mode with both Mini-Con guns?


Been pondering a remake of the Armada game, and the Tidal Wave fight would be a longer segment that counts as a level in and of itself. When it's not the Autobots ripping up his insides, it's those three destroying guns and weaponry so that he can't destroy the east coast.

None, unfortunately; I've found I'd be better with scripting things than programming.


So far, I've got Optimus, Red Alert, Hot Shot, Blurr, Scavenger, Smokescreen, Jetfire (NPC, airstrikes), Ultra Magnus/Overload, Hoist, Side Swipe (NPC, Mission Control) and Huffer from PCC with the Rallybots.


I'm hoping to go for at least double the size of the previous Armada game, with the majority of the Decepticons as bosses; Starscream, Cyclonus, Wheeljack, Demolishor, Thrust, Tidal Wave, Megatron, the works.


But I'm getting ahead of myself; I'll have to rewatch SooMungry's playthrough to get a bead.

I do game design. Mostly work alone and can tell you, it's a lot of work. But if you're a programmer it's easier. I do 3d modeling, learned a bit of programming.

Try Unity3d, it's free and pretty good.


You already built those characters in 3d?

Amen, I also have the G1 japanese exclusive game. Eventhough it had a huge lot of G1 characters, Armada had way better gameplay.


I love Escalation in War For Cybertron, and Multiplayer in Fall Of Cybertron. High Moon studios really nailed it with those games. Truely dedicated designers.Β 

Looking forward to the next installment of the series.

He has a good design but the big version lacks in articulation because of the gimmick.

The deluxe "bendy" version does the design justice. If only he were voyager sized.
