Real Name: Richard Pence
Powers and Abilities: Access to a pocket dimension called The Vault where he keeps his weapons, tools, and armor. He can summon any of these at will. He also possesses a heightened knowledge of the history of weapons and combat.

Bio: Throughout high school and college, Richard Pence was an excellent student. He was at the top of his class and had high goals for himself. He hoped to one day become a history professor, and eventually take over for his parents as head of the family museum chain. Their family owned a large chain of museums along the East Coast each with a different focus. His favorite museum focused on ancient and foreign cultures, and his father had agreed to let him run that one in a year, before giving him full control over all of them in about eight years. During his third year of college, all of that changed. His parents were murdered, and he was forced to put his education on hold and take control of all the museums years early. It was all too much for him, and he turned into a completely different person. His longtime best friend tried to help him, but it was no use.

Exactly two weeks after his parents' funeral, he was visited at his family's mansion by a mysterious figure. Without saying a word, the figure fired purple smoke out of its hands and into Richard's face. He passed out, waking up ten minutes later. He later discovered that this figure gave him access to some kind of pocket dimension filled with weapons and armor. He was also able to design his own additions to this dimension, which he dubbed The Vault. He could summon any of these items at will, in clouds of purple smoke. This new ability was able to lift him out of his sorrow, giving him new purpose. He told his best friend about it, and the two of them became superheroes, protecting the city from any threat the police couldn't handle. He became Blacksmith. Years later, his friend was dead, but with the help of The Shadow, Size-Man, and White Demon he was able to stop an extra-dimensional creature that threatened the extinction of all life on earth.
