These are my two attempts at Shadowcat from Marvel Comics.
When I first started using Heromachine 3, I mostly made X-Men characters. Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat is one of my favorite X-Men characters, and I felt like my old attempt didn't do her justice. After I learned how to use transparency and masking in Heromachine 3, I decided to try again. She is now one of my most accurate X-Men, in my opinion. For the new attempt, I decided to exclude Lockheed the Dragon, because I couldn't get the colors to look good with Shadowcat. But some design details stayed the same, like the aura choice for her phasing, and the glove cuffs. I also decided to keep the black with blue highlight for the other part of her costume, as it captures the comic book style very well.
