This is a lovely Victorian Era jacket that I made for myself. I used crushed velvet, some old lace I had laying around, and these gorgeous buttons that I brought off of etsy. It took about a week total to make and I used a pattern (will edit when I find the pattern name, can't think of it off the top of my head). The lining is a green crushed velvet. I did make some slight alterations to the pattern. I chose not to have the front flaps button open like the pattern called for, and left out the pleated insert in the back after fighting with the fabric and trying to get it to lay properly. All in all, I am pretty happy with my jacket. Related content
