This is a digital drawing of a characer I made up called Milo, based on some photos I took of myself to get the clothes and the head position right.===UPDATE=== 8.6.12
I lie; all this is me in a wig and my boy's hoodie. I'm not transgendered but I do like to dress up as a boy sometimes; but I've never gone out in public as Milo. There. I said it.

i have a Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet
i opened up Jasc Paint Shop Pro and created a blank canvas.
opened up my picture.
made a new layer on the blank one and pasted my picture on to it.
using an opacity thing, i was able to trace over it, then remove my picture altogether, leaving a clear black line.
i coloured it in using the Magic Tool (it selects an area of the same colour, in this case, white) and then added texture and depth of field with picmonkey
