Description This is a map detailing the creation of the North American Unified Nation, which effectively functions as a more euphemistic name for the American Empire. Through military coersion, the United States gets Canada to join, then uses sheer military force to conquer the whole of the North American continent and even parts of South America (partly with the help of a rising Brazil).

Meanwhile, France solidifies its hold on French Guyana, Venezuela gobbles up a large portion of Guyana, and all the while, Brazil begins to solidify itself as the dominant power of South America, which will likely take place in more detail in a later map.

I hope that's an approval for the timeline and not for imperialism.

Heavens NO, not for Imperialism. I like your timeline and story plot.

I have been reading anything and everything that I can find on alternate realities since I found William Sanders book "Journey to Fousang". It's an alternate reality that takes place in North America in the late 1700s. It's a scream.

Harry Turtledove writes some of the best A/R books, anything by him is good. I read 'The Two Georges' not too long ago. Seems George Washington and George the III were great admirers of each other and Washington was instrumental in keeping North America a loyal British Crown Colony. Story line is the late 1990s. The main character is a member of the "Royal American Mounted Police"!

Once again...Bravo Sir!

Keep up the good work.

Fast history lesson.

Just after the American Revolution, Canada did ask to join the new USA. Continental Congress said no because too many Loyalists had gone north after the war.

In 1862, before they got it together, Mexico (and almost all of the Spanish Carribbean colonies) asked the Confederate States of America to join the CSA. Confederate Congress didn't get around to doing anything about it until it was too late. Mexico had kicked the French (and their puppets) out and were no longer interested.

If all of this had actually happened, the USA would go from the North Pole to Central Amerca.

Quite possibly this did happen, in a reality not far from here.

Keep up the great work and wonderful imagination.

Once again, not an Imperialist, just an avid player of 'RISK'.
