Description This is the follow-up to the previous Europe map and details events from the end of the First Franco-German War through the end of the Second Franco-German War. To be brief, this period can be characterized by a French desire to maneuver events to maintain their advantage over Germany. Thus, France (and, to a lesser degree, the United Kingdom) prop up Greece against Yugoslavia to create an ally should Yugoslavia decide to join Germany in an invasion of French-held territories. Later, this sort of alliance creation gets France in a bit of a mess when France uses (not entirely) covert actions to help Russia annihilate the German navy and turn the tide of the Russo-German War. Germany signs an armistice with Russia and invades the French Empire, though this invasion is repelled with advanced French robotic sniping units (TEDD's, as have been previously drawn in my gallery) and France imposes a harsh settlement on the defeated Germans.

Damn. The detail and thought you put into this is very impressive! You could write a history book of the future, kinda like those faux-antique journals but the other way around. Put in pictures, notes on key persons, quirky personal comments... (What? No, I don't have an unhealthy love for the Dragon/Egypt/Myth/Piratology books, not at all.)

So, anyway, I'm off to Tanzania for a month and probably won't be able to log in much. I'll talk to you in late March; be good!

I have been writing up some of the principal political figures and events (more of the latter) but the task of creating a plotted comic or the like is daunting, to say the least.

Oh my god, plot. I hate plot. I think it taunts me behind my back, laughing with all its friends when it thinks I'm not looking.
*cough*
I wish I could give some advice or ask clever questions, but I have no idea what to do with my own storyline...
But, uhm... If you have the major political players and their interests, you can always figure out where they'd cross, and from there what impacts that'd have on the rest of the world and the main cast.
If you choose to focus on a few individuals (if, yeah; not making assumptions here), would you want them to interact in the plot or just illustrate it?
(Admittedly, I think these are questions I'm trying to answer myself and so subject you to in the meanwhile... Sorry for incoherence.)

Thanks; I think I'll try to write it up a bit over this summer when I have some free time, though it will probably only be some sorting out of ideas. Oh, well.

You'll figure it out; eventually patterns tend to show themselves.
