Description
Approximately four-hundred years in the future, this friendly fellow becomes the mainstay of everyone's favorite growing superpower, The People's Republic of China. Pardon the name, but I don't know a whole lot about Chinese military heroes which would readily apply to naming a robot, and I know even less about the Chinese language. Regardless, the Chinese government, as with many socialist and communist states before it, enjoys using the word "People's" to show some semblance of democracy.

Anyway, this particular mech is a medium assault unit with some heavy armor and advanced sensor systems but virtually devoid of any kind of unique mounted weapons. However, the unit is designed to allow for weapons to hook into a device that feeds energy from the unit's high-power reactor. Hence, beam weapons can still be fired once the energy stored within the weapon itself is depleted. Additionally, it enables these units to carry the Chinese military exclusive, the beam bazooka, as sported by this model.

The background on this one was rather bothersome but I think it still turned out fairly well. That particular building was inspired by one downtown which is of particular interest to me. A shiny quarter to whoever can guess that from the vague details in the drawing.
