My first official piece for 2017!

Sorry there hasn't been a new art piece in almost a month. I really wanted to take it easy and not worry about drawing something for a little while. Plus, I've been in a creative slump, so I haven't had a whole lot of ideas recently. So I figured I'd draw something I originally wanted to draw last year, but never got around to, just to help keep me in practice.

Here we have Jaiden, from the YouTube channel, Jaiden Animations ( www.youtube.com/channel/UCGwu0…), redrawn in my own style!
Like I said, I originally wanted to draw this last year, but I had a ton of my own original ideas I wanted to do at the time, so I never got around to drawing this. I usually don't draw "Internet People", since I'm mostly preoccupied on drawing ideas based on my own characters or personal fandoms. On top of that, I tend to think internet people tend to receive plenty of fan art from other fans as it is. However, I'm willing to make some exceptions, based on certain people I greatly admire or have inspired me significantly. One of them being Jaiden.

I first discovered Jaiden early last year. I love this girl SO MUCH! I love her animations and I relate to her A LOT with her personal life stories, especially the ones about her childhood memories, attending school and college, and being socially awkward (We introverts gotta stick together!). I love her energy and her humble honesty about life's quirky mishaps. Her videos are always a treat for me and I always look forward to seeing them. My all-time favorite vid from her is her "I'm too Awkward for My Own Good" video ( youtu.be/32Xb-Js4KH4), which was the first Jaiden Animations video I ever saw! ^^

Anyway, I had a lot of fun drawing her animated persona. I really liked drawing her hair! lol

This is sort of my own, personal way of saying "Thanks!" to you, Jaiden! Keep up the amazing work! ^^
