Description
Here's another nostalgic reimagining of one of my favorite cartoons.
This time on the movie "Really Rosie" : www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9Y3mW…
I mainly remember this film for teaching me the alphabet in kindergarten with the song "Alligators All Around."
Ahhh, memories . . . *sniffle* *sniffle*

Am I to understand that this movie also introduced you to "chicken soup with rice"?

I've found a higher-quality video of it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kunt9F…
Also, I defy anyone to name that other girl. Seriously.

Firs of all, really good-looking work: your design is just so impossible to not love
In second place, I give it a try, I'm really interested in cartoons for little kids, like"Milly, Molly", and...it's OK, it was kinda good, but what I really wanted, even knowing it was impossible, it had the design you used here, or at least a close one.
Really good work, it's cool to have your own childhood treasures. See you!

what i love about Maurice Sendak's work is that he understands kids. Theyre not just nice, wide-eyed and cutesy. Theyre rebellious, skeptical and smarter than what we give them credit for. The best example is the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Spike Jonze perfectly captures the psychology of children that neither Disney Channel not Nickelodeon could ever accomplish.

I definitely agree with you. Adults always seem to underestimate kids' sensibilities. I always appreciate writers and directors who manage to capture all the realistic aspects of childhood and not just the cutesy or positive ones.

Oh...my...gawd! I remember this. Holy crap! So much nostalgia. I remember watching this.
The "I don't care" story with the boy was my favorite. The one with the cook who chokes on the chicken bone used to freak me out as a kid! Gah! Thank you so much for making this.
