Please know that you are absolutely not worthless in my eyes. I may not comment or fav every picture that you draw, but I am always impressed that you can draw, and that you have the style that you have. You've had a lot of ideas, great, funny, tragic, a lot of variety, and I am happy to have discovered your work. ^_^

“Well, between the stress at work, the stress of trying to pay off my credit cards/car payments, trying to squeeze in time to draw before/after work and spending time with family...” AHA! So, THAT’S what has been going on with you lately. But seriously, listen to all these people; your positive qualities, sensibilities and sense of humor have obviously effected them for the better. Me too. Stop hating yourself. If every pork chop were perfect, we wouldn’t have hot dogs...and all further life-affirming quotes Steven Universe offered (if you’re still watching it).
And as for your griping about Godzilla and it’s fanbase: Well, I warned you about Hollywood’s priorities, and your ideals for the monster movie genre not being compatible with them. (But how can a Godzilla movie by HIDEAKI CRYINOUTLOUD ANNO be disappointing?!) I’ve felt the same way about the Star Wars sequel trilogy, but I still insist on going to see it and tune out all the boos and hisses in the audience and appreciate what ends up coming through. That’s why I didn’t watch any trailers or first look videos on it (though I did read a poignant memoir by Carrie Fisher’s daughter). Anyway, all this bias frustrates me too.

By the way, go pitch Marilyn to Warner Bros., already! ...Then again, just because a cartoonist like you may ultimately run out of steam before they can get their chance to put their talents to professional use doesn’t mean many others don’t still have as much spirit and determination to try themselves. Hang in there my friend. Life is tough, and I know it can feel emotionally draining at times. But just remember that these hardships are temporary. You have all these people cheering you on every day because of your outstanding work, and we all know you have the potential to achieve great things. The greatest challenges you need to face are simply these issues that appear to be restricting you.
I understand that at your age, things feel hopeless, but I know that your moment just hasn't arrived yet; your proudest days are yet to come. Trust me on this.
