This was the most honored Graphic Design project everyone always looks forward to. You pick a famous person and surround them by their own quotes.Everybody was so excited, guessing who would draw which person. Everyone immediatly said, "Oh, you're doing JOHN LENNON." When I told them I was doing George, they actually asked who he was...
GOD. George is so underappreciated, damn it! That's why I worked so hard on this. Note that I really don't do fonts well, so this was kind of hard for me. Not to mention that George is kind of akward to draw, despite him being hot as hell. I might upload a better cut and/or bigger picture later, and some detail shots.
Other considerations besides George were Lewis Carroll or Danny Elfman, actually.
Used sharpie, white-out, papermate markers.

Edit: Actually, I got a lot of comments on this piece from a lot of adults who saw this displayed in our school's Art Fair. I even got an offer from a teacher who wanted to buy it! But George isn't going anywhere. The only person I'd ever give it to is maybe George's family, a Beatle, or George Martin.

I was going back through my favorites and found this again, and I realized I can't remember if I ever commented on this, and if I didn't I'm very upset with myself. If I did, oh well, it deserves another comment. I remember when I first saw this is was like being punched in the face because I just found it SO WONDERFUL. George is my absolute ultimate hero and I think he's pretty much the greatest man who ever lived, and this just captures him SO well.
Anyway sorry to ramble, I just can't believe I didn't comment on this ages ago to tell you how much I adore it!
