I guess from scratch to me then. I am not nearly skilled enough in the 3d world to do that. It took me 7 years to get where I am in the drawing world. And over a year to finally get a good enough understanding to mmd. I only just learned how to rip and rig things. I hope to be good in every media to make everyone happy with my art one day. Being only just turning 18 in a few months I still have a way to go seeing as most don't fully get an understanding of who they are and what not until around the 20s but even then we can grow more!

I think you might wanna change the description though, "from scratch" to you means a very different thing to not only the mmdc but the 3D modeling community as a whole. When I first read it I thought you were claiming you modeled what was in the image yourself.

I started 3D modeling when I was about 14 and being 16 now I'm decent at modeling a lot of stuff, once you get used to using whatever modeling program you're using you improve really quickly as long as you keep learning and working on it. I never learned how to rip things from games.

Though I don't think age matters much, anyone can learn how to do something at any age and still end up being great as long as they keep practicing.

I'd suggest starting 3D modeling now if you want, even if you think you aren't skilled, i started with no skill too. Everyone does.
